VP of Engineering & Manufacturing
Peak Nano is a cutting-edge nano technology company experiencing rapid growth and expansion. The VP of Engineering and Manufacturing will be responsible for all engineering and development efforts required to transition products to high volume manufacturing, while also managing manufacturing operations and leading a high performing team.
Responsibilities
Hire, develop, and lead a high performing team
Manage all Engineering and Development related activities required to perfect Nano Plex and transition it to high volume manufacturing
Design, build, and implement efficient and effective volume manufacturing/extrusion capabilities required to scale Nano Plex
Establish and manage to annual budget and key objectives set early in each calendar year
Design, build and implement efficient and effect maintenance, logistics, and administrative processes
Design and implement effective Environmental Health and Safety program, while ensuring Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) and environmental standards (EPA)
Design, implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated people leader with strong interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering field
10+ years of relevant experience in film extrusion
Leadership of a plastics extrusion/manufacturing team
Oversight of installation/operation of plastic conversion equipment (cast film, blown film, compounding, injection molding, etc…)
EH&S leadership experience
Experience overseeing large capital equipment and facilities
Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
US Citizenship
Preferred
Master's Degree in a technical discipline
Cast film biaxial orientation extrusion facility experience
