Responsibilities
Partnering with families who are struggling to make ends meet in Orange County as part of the work of the Family Success Alliance (FSA) through education, facilitation, collaboration, and advocacy to improve health outcomes
Helping families navigate the complex systems of healthcare, mental health, social services, housing, and educational support by working with neighborhood schools, healthcare, housing, and other local agencies
Qualification
Required
Possession of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) test equivalency
One (1) year of working experience in human services
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
All offers of employment are conditional upon successful clearance of pre-employment drug testing
Must be able to travel and serve clients throughout Orange County and may be required to work hours outside of traditional business hours
Preferred
Bi-lingual applicants in Burmese/Karen or Spanish are highly encouraged to apply
Applicants who have work experience in navigating human service systems, identifying needed community resources, serving as cultural interlocutors and/or translator are preferred
