Responsibilities
Perform construction tasks including asphalt raking, asphalt rolling, loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
Install underground telecommunications cabling
Operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas
Clearly communicate with all team members
Complete daily production reports
Help with site restoration efforts
Perform work in all weather conditions
Other duties as assigned
Completes and maintains all training
Always follow safety regulations, procedures, and policies in all work activities
All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment
Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools
Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling

Climb into and out of equipment. (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)
Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery: Backhoe, Jackhammer, Jumping Jack, Hole Hog, Roto Hammer, Cut-Off Saw, Portable Water Pump, Saws-All, pedestals, cables, plastic conduit, shovel, rake, sledgehammer, pipe wrench, wire cutters, bolt cutters, cable cutters, drilling shafts, etc
Working in congested or remote areas
Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement. Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor
Flagging, property or worksite restoration
Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
Qualification
Required
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
A valid driver's license
At least three years of related work experience
Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks
Preferred
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience
Previous Foreman experience
