Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems and related subjects using lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery

Support the academic development of the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program, with collaborative involvement in related programs such as the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

Focus on subject matter leadership, including curriculum development, student recruitment, academic advising, and industry engagement

Report directly to the Technology Program Director and work closely with faculty and staff to ensure that program content remains current, relevant, and aligned with college goals and industry needs

Required

Master's degree in information systems, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related discipline

Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, cybersecurity, software engineering, or related fields

Proven track record in senior IT leadership roles (e.g., CIO, CTO, CISO, Director of Technology, IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture)

Familiarity with modern enterprise and emerging technologies, including cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), cybersecurity tools and frameworks, and software development practices (e.g., Python, Git, DevOps)

Ability to translate industry trends into educational experiences

Experience building relationships with external partners, advisory boards, or professional associations

Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and program development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional and confidential manner
