Responsibilities

Develop and maintain localization algorithms and systems for AR/VR headsets

With mentorship of others, would own a component of the navigation stack for 'Project Buck'

Inertial navigation and filtering for SBMC headsets

Contribute to real-time AR systems including SLAM, localization, navigation, simulation, and more

Work with a small team of 4 engineers (plus HM) focused on delivering systems that must work robustly in the harshest and most challenging environments in the world

Team members will be responsible for end-to-end development, testing, and verification of state-of-the art platforms for AR systems

3-7 years of experience in developing quality software products

Strong proficiency with C++ development

Approach problems holistically with the end-user in mind

Able to cut through ambiguity and design experiments to inform product decisions

Strong mathematics background

Preferred

Experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and robotics

Experience with SLAM and VIO systems

Linux/Android and Windows development

Experience with cameras and digital sensors

Experience with inertial sensors, GPS

Experience developing distributed systems with limited compute resources
