Responsibilities

Support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer

Focus on infrastructure management and operations including monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, and hosting

Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errors through automation

Implement platforms that orchestrate workflows for end-to-end task execution

Utilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience

Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 10 years' experience in System Engineering specifically including:

Analysis related to design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale Windows/Unix/Linux environments

Professional-level skills focused on the data center solutions, technologies and best practices to design, implement, and manage a modern data center infrastructure

10 years' experience testing large scale Windows/Unix/Linux environments

Experience performing a variety of engineering and operational related assignments associated with Storage operations, and virtualization software (VMware's vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V) on a set of enterprise-level IT systems

10 years' experience writing scripts with a scripting language

Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes

Experienced in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments

Eligibility for Entry on Duty clearance

CISCO CCNP certified
