AIM Educate is focused on supporting student assessments in a K-12 setting. The K-12 Testing Monitor will assist evaluators by ensuring technology and materials are prepared, monitoring testing environments, and providing logistical support to facilitate efficient evaluation sessions.

Responsibilities

Technology Setup & Troubleshooting

Prepare laptops, tablets, and other devices required for testing

Set up secure testing platforms/software and ensure internet connectivity

Troubleshoot minor technical issues during assessments (with evaluator guidance)

Proctoring & Environment Management

Assist in maintaining a quiet, distraction-free testing environment

Monitor student behavior to ensure standardized administration procedures

Support evaluators in keeping testing materials secure and organized

Evaluator Support

Assist evaluators in distributing and collecting materials

Document and track testing accommodations as directed

Provide clerical support such as note-taking, scheduling, and data entry

Communication & Collaboration

Work under the direct supervision of the evaluator or assigned staff

Communicate promptly about any issues that may disrupt testing

Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow directions, uphold confidentiality, and remain attentive in proctoring situations

Preferred

Some college coursework preferred

Prior experience in an educational or testing environment is a plus
