They are seeking an Adjunct College Laboratory Technician to support student coursework and laboratory activities, which includes maintaining laboratories and assisting students with experiments.

Responsibilities

Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories

Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of equipment and materials

Maintains appropriate safety and hygiene standards

Maintains required documentation related to laboratory activities

Manages equipment and materials inventories

Maintain, fabricate, modify, and repair student computers

Conduct regular updates on computers for student use

Create and post signage in the labs and secure devices used by students

Ensure that computers are whitelisted for internet access each semester

Submit tickets for equipment disposal

Liaise with vendors for equipment support and parts replacement

Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma with a minimum of four years related experience

Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience

Preferred

Experience with SPSS, Cortex XDR antivirus, FortiNAC and LanSchool Classroom Management Software is highly desirable
