Harmons Grocery is a company focused on providing quality products and services. They are seeking a Print Production Specialist to assist the Print and Design Manager with pre-press setup, printing, assembling items, and maintaining inventory in the PrintShop.

Responsibilities

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures

Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner

Assists the Print and Design Manager

Coordinates the Printing team on Custom Print Orders

Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of projects

Responsible for the ordering of consumables (ink, paper, etc.)

Performs general printer maintenance (changing toner, clearing paper jams, etc.)

Maintains the appropriate inventory level of supplies used in the Print Shop

Communicates openly and frequently with the Printing and Design Manager

Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Distribution Center as a whole

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency and maintain focus

A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, email and the internet

Working knowledge of proofing and printing processes for professional use

Ability to learn new printer RIP software such as Command Workstation and Versa Works

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for pre-press

Knowledge of Paper types, sign substrates, digital production printing (both high speed copier and wide format)

Ability to utilize computer systems and standard office equipment

Ability to interpret policies and procedures

Excellent organization and planning skills

Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with diverse groups of people

Must possess the ability to accept and give constructive review and be accountable for the team's success

Required to make logical decisions using general, recognized skills and techniques

Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to working collaboratively
