The primary responsibility of this role is to teach courses in the Environmental Health & Safety Program and collaborate on curriculum development while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Teach Environmental Health & Safety courses on-campus, off-campus, by alternative methods of delivery (Zoom/Internet, etc.)
Work with the AETA EHS Program Coordinator to Develop and/or Revise Environmental Health & Safety curriculums to keep current with changing technologies and state and federal regulatory requirements
Work with the AETA EHS Program Coordinator to deliver training statewide
Attend meetings, trainings, workshops, seminars, and conferences as requested
Perform other related duties as may be assigned
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety related field
Knowledge of safety rules, regulations and procedures
Knowledge of Hazwoper, DOT Hazardous Material Transportation, OSHA General Industry and/or OSHA Construction Industry standards
Must possess the skills necessary deliver environmental health and safety training to students and industry groups
Background check required
Preferred
OSHA Authorized Trainer for General Industry and Construction Industry standards
Associate's or Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Physical Science, or Chemistry
Teaching experience with curriculum development and delivery
