Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations within the distribution center, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
Coordinate schedules and priorities to maintain steady workflow and ensure on-time deliveries
Audit and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
Maintain accountabilities for all materials, supplies, and warehouse inventory
Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and optimize warehouse space utilization
Provide hands-on training, coaching, and performance feedback to warehouse associates
Serve as the main point of contact for operations updates, problem-solving, and communication between shifts or departments
Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring the facility operates safely and efficiently
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, ideally 5+ years in a related function with at least 2–4 years in a leadership or team lead capacity
Strong understanding of shipping/receiving, inventory management, and material handling systems
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in process improvement, problem-solving, and operational efficiency
Proficiency with MS Office and experience using WMS or ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday)
Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
High School Diploma or equivalent required
