The Technical Artist role involves developing intelligent 3D asset generation workflows and collaborating with technical experts and artists to enhance creativity in 3D modeling.

Responsibilities
Develop generative AI–driven 3D creative workflows, including but not limited to interactive editing tools, character animation, and procedural asset generation
Implement geometry, material, and texture processing algorithms for 3D asset pipelines, such as mesh retopology and UV unwrapping
Troubleshoot geometry, material, and texture issues during asset generation and optimize 3D asset presentation quality
Assist art and algorithm teams in developing internal artist tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Digital Media Technology, or a related field, with 3+ years of graphics development or technical art experience
Solid understanding of computer graphics principles, such as mesh data structures, normals, UV mapping, and texture sampling
Proficiency in C++ and Python, with experience in developing artist tools
Familiarity with 3D content creation tools (Blender, ZBrush, Houdini) and hands-on 3D art production experience
Strong communication skills, able to explain graphics technical concepts to non-graphics team members
Preferred
Understanding of generative AI or machine learning concepts, with experience using 3D generative AI for art creation
Experience in Web3D development (WebGL, WebGPU, WebAssembly)
Familiarity with Rust programming
Experience developing and maintaining graphics-related modules in production environments (e.g., games or 3D creation tools)
