They are seeking a friendly, detail-driven Front Counter / Customer Service Representative with hands-on print shop experience to guide customers through the ordering process and maintain a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities
Greet walk-in customers and provide knowledgeable, print-focused support
Handle incoming phone calls and emails with prompt, professional communication
Provide accurate quotes for print, sign, and graphics projects
Enter and process orders, take payments, and ensure all job details are correct
Review customer files for accuracy, print readiness, and required adjustments
Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure clear and complete job instructions
Track job progress and provide updates to customers as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and showroom
Assist with problem-solving, customer concerns, and follow-ups
Stay informed on materials, products, and finishing options to offer informed recommendations
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in a printing/copy shop or sign shop is required (e.g., FedEx Office, Minuteman Press, UPS Store, retail print shops, etc.)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to understand print terminology (bleeds, resolution, substrates, file types, etc.)
Excellent organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable multitasking while maintaining accuracy
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Quick Books, email, POS systems
Preferred
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Suite is a major plus
Familiarity with print industry software (Fiery, RIPs, job ticketing tools) is a bonus
