Responsibilities

The intern is responsible for observing the functions and processes of the assigned work unit
The intern may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience, to assess the performance levels and to provide benefit to the work unit
The intern will be responsible for completing all internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo and the participating educational facility
Biomedical Ethics interns will participate in a biomedical ethics summer curriculum, which includes educational sessions on bioethics research methods and lunch meetings with members of the program faculty

Required

Relevant field experiences in their chosen field of study
Ability to observe the functions and processes of the assigned work unit
Completion of all internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo and the participating educational facility
Participation in a biomedical ethics summer curriculum, including educational sessions on bioethics research methods and lunch meetings with members of the program faculty
Availability to spend a full 10 weeks in Rochester, Minnesota, or willingness to describe interest in opportunities in Arizona or Florida campuses in the cover letter
Ability to participate in a brief phone interview to discuss specific skills and areas of interest
