Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects
Supervision of less experienced staff working on projects
Interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines
Serve as a technical mentor for less experienced staff in local offices
Engage in Business Development activities such as proposal preparation and fee/scope development
Fill the role of Project Manager for selected Electrical projects
Qualification
Required
Knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities
Good working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes
Good communication skills, including interaction with clients and contractors
Experience serving as the lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities
Supervision of less experienced staff working on projects
Interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines
Technical mentor for less experienced staff in local offices
Engagement in Business Development activities such as proposal preparation and fee/scope development
Fill the role of Project Manager for selected Electrical projects
AutoCAD experience
Over 12 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in water/wastewater or other heavy industrial industry
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineering License
Preferred
Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software experience
Prior engineering leadership experience
Leadership experience in major projects
Experience with instrumentation and control systems, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs
