Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects at a time. Partner with senior team members to support all aspects of deal evaluation including investment framing, credit underwriting, due diligence, structuring and management of the investment committee process. Own the operational process and coordinate with internal stakeholders as the deal moves from initial screening to close
Develop detailed investment committee memoranda and screening presentations. Present to team members and investment committees
Perform detailed financial modeling and data analysis to support investment decision-making
Follow progression of closed transactions and communicate material changes to broader team members. Work on ad hoc requests to summarize portfolio metrics and performance
Drive robust relative value discussions across the organization. Be able to effectively communicate the underlying dynamics of the energy and infrastructure sub-markets. Seek to generate optimal risk-adjusted returns for the overall portfolio
Work independently in a flat/lean team structure and promote a culture of collaboration, being willing to work cross-functionally to add value across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance
3-6 years of relevant work experience in infrastructure, private credit investing, banking or similar financial institutions
Previous experience in credit underwriting with a demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate transaction risks and risk mitigation strategies
Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, financial modeling skills, and decision-making ability
Written and verbal communication skills; comfortable making investment recommendations and addressing questions from an investment committee
Ability and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure deal execution happens on a timely basis while managing multiple responsibilities
Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of producing consistent work product
Self-motivated and creative with the ability to work independently; flexibility to take on additional responsibilities depending on the needs of the business
Proven ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external investment professionals and executives
Passion for energy and infrastructure sectors
