The Construction Services Intern will gain hands-on experience by observing construction operations, assisting with quality control processes, and collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

Regularly visit construction sites to observe day-to-day operations, gaining insight into effective construction supervision practices

Conduct detailed observations and assessments of ongoing construction work, documenting observations, identifying potential issues, and suggesting corrective actions to ensure project quality and safety standards are met

Assist in reviewing and managing construction work packages, including detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions, working closely with the construction engineering team to ensure all packages are complete and accurate

Collaborate with welding engineers and craft personnel to gain a comprehensive understanding of welding processes, including various techniques, equipment, and quality control measures, ensuring welds meet structural and safety requirements

Rotate through different engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and civil, to learn from experienced engineers, assisting with design reviews, system checks, and interdisciplinary coordination
