City President - Commercial Banking Admin NAS
WesBanco is a financial institution seeking a City President & Senior Commercial Banker to lead commercial banking efforts in the market. The role involves managing existing commercial relationships and developing new client connections, with a focus on commercial and industrial lending while supporting CRA lending initiatives.

Responsibilities
Develops and implements the market's commercial lending guidelines, objectives, and goals under the in partnership with Commercial Banking Executive under the guidance of the Market President
Communicates line of business strategies, and any changes to those strategies
Evaluates the loan portfolio and analyzes any developing trends
Analyzes unusually difficult and complex loans and determines the most effective method for maximizing financial recovery
Coordinates with operational and administrative areas to facilitate the origination of new accounts
Reviews new and existing account relationships for opportunities to meet additional needs with other products or services. Shares findings with appropriate staff members for follow up
Assists in the execution of all line of business strategies within a portion of the region
Reinforces line of business messaging and support processes/tactics as directed by the line of business head
Supports execution of line of business strategies in a manner that optimizes the local market opportunity
Participates in market business plan meetings
Assists in talent attraction and retention
Facilitates the development of (and actively work) the talent pipeline for the Commercial line of business within the market
Strategizes with market head of business line how to best attract that talent
Leverages their position in the market to open doors and recruit talent in coordination with line of business heads
Maintains the bank’s risk, credit, and compliance culture as new employees are hired and WesBanco footprint is expanded
The person in this position is responsible for supervising, or delegating the supervision, of members of the region's Commercial Banking staff
Makes authoritative recommendations regarding selection of new employees, salary increases, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions and terminations. Maintains documentation on recommendations and actions taken
Trains, coaches, counsels, and provides general direction and guidance to direct reports

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing
You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner
Knowledge of general banking principles and compliance regulations as they pertain to consumer lending products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including profit & loss management expertise
Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office software
Ability to learn commercial banking software
