Responsibilities
The internship will consist of a project-based assignment to broaden learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen
Potential areas of learning:
Database Conception: Understanding of vendor relationships and cost differentials. Creation of internal database for pricing associated with vendors and assets
Work with members of the Project Procurement team to learn the procurement process at Midrex, including use of the ERP system, issuing RFQ’s, drafting Purchase Orders, expediting Purchase Orders, managing invoices and contacting vendors on warranty claims
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Excel)
Ability to learn modern technology, software, and tools
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration/Management, or related field
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
