Responsibilities

Monitor automation lanes and support bottle spotting teams to identify potential quality issues with automated dispensing

Respond to floor calls for quality related issues in pharmacy including automation, manual dispensing, warehouse, and packing departments

Research patient medication events

Collaborate with all departments and research operational issues that can impact building operation and quality

Research in house quality events and report findings out to Director of Pharmacy Practice and relevant/impacted departments

Document and manage quality audit process for all departments/shifts

Assist in development, documentation, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures

Assist in training/development of other team members

Demonstrate leadership quality consistent with Cigna Values

Qualification

Certified Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy dispensing experienceQuality assurance knowledgeMicrosoft Office proficiencyAttention to detailOrganizational skillsProblem-solving abilityTeam collaboration

Required

High school diploma or GED required

Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and licensed in the state of Indiana

At least three years' experience in a pharmacy dispensing setting required

General PC knowledge and skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy

Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions

Ability and desire to assist team members

Preferred

Exposure to quality based responsibilities a plus
