They are seeking a Structural Engineering Intern who will perform routine engineering assignments under the supervision of senior engineers, contributing to various aspects of structural design and project management.

Responsibilities
Perform structural design calculations, interpreting building codes
Documenting all project communications
Instructing drafters how to turn designs into completed structural drawings
Assist in structural/civil engineering evaluations, reports, analyses and designs for existing and new facilities and other related opportunities
Prepare various permit applications and assist with calculations and report writing
Participate in site visits
Review of contractor’s submittals
Review shop drawing submittals and request for information
Research and identify governing criteria, codes, guides, and best practices
Work under the supervision of project managers, senior structural designers, and other senior-level team members
May be asked to travel to out of town assignments
Any other assigned duties

Qualification
Required
Working toward a bachelor's degree in Structural /Civil Engineering or related undergraduate degree required

Basic understanding of Revit
Proficient use of Engineering Design Software
Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and methods
