3+ years expValpak is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician who specializes in hands-on mechanical and electrical work. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, performing routine preventive maintenance, and ensuring the facility runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on presses and production equipment
Work with 480V panels, wiring, motors, and controls
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Use schematics and manuals to troubleshoot efficiently
Maintain safety and LOTO procedures
Qualification
Required
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Strong hands-on mechanical skills (bearings, belts, pumps, etc.)
480V electrical knowledge (motor controls, panels, wiring)
Ability to read blueprints/schematics
Comfortable working 2nd or 3rd shift if needed
Preferred
Experience in print, packaging, food & beverage, or manufacturing
Basic PLC knowledge is a plus
