Responsibilities
Drives to and from job sites to transport personnel, tools, supplies and equipment
Assists with leaf removal by operating leaf vacuum hose and raking leaves
Cleans and maintains division vehicles
Communicates with other employees or supervisors utilizing a mobile or hand-held radio
Sweeps walks, streets, and alleys with hand broom
Shovels snow from walks and streets
Loads and unloads heavy material from trucks
Performs a variety of related work as required
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and write
At least six months of paid experience in general labor work
Possession of a valid State of Ohio driver's license
Basic knowledge of hand tools and the standard practices of labor operations
Ability to understand and follow oral instructions
Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks
Ability to perform heavy manual labor for prolonged periods, often under adverse weather conditions
Ability to communicate in an effective manner
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
