Responsibilities
Perform skilled airframe and powerplant maintenance, repairs and modifications on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft
Participate in flight checks
Ensure air worthiness
Maintain records, reports, and logs
Qualification
Required
One (1) year of experience in the maintenance and repair of helicopters or fixed wing turbo or turbine engine aircraft
Must possess a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
A valid California Class C Driver License
Ability to frequently stoop, bend, crawl, and work on knees for up to thirty (30) minutes
Ability to frequently climb and work on ladders for as long as thirty (30) minutes
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move parts weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
Must provide their own set of basic hand tools at the time of appointment
Preferred
Recent experience in the maintenance and repair of Bell 212, Bell 412 and UH-1H, Airbus H125 helicopters
Experience with fixed-wing, light single and twin-engine airplanes
Factory trained experience
Benefits
Inspection License Differential - $1.50/hour for hours worked for employees who possess a valid Federal Aviation Inspection License.
Annual Tool Allowance - $650
Annual Boot Allowance - $150
On-Call Compensation As Needed - $4.00/hour
