Teach seven courses annually in American Politics
Teach upper and lower division courses in American Politics, including one section of American National Politics each semester, an institutions course, and additional courses in the colleague’s area of specialization
Participate in departmental activities and governance
Engage in professional and research activities, attending state, regional and national professional association meetings
Attend faculty assemblies, development days, and retreat, serving on committees, and advising
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or ABD in Political Science
Demonstrated effectiveness at college-level teaching
Ability and desire to establish positive relationships with persons of diverse backgrounds
Strong potential for ongoing research in the candidate's area of specialization
A personal commitment to the Christian faith and to the integration of faith and learning
The ability to communicate effectively in the language of instruction (English)
