Automotive Technician A
Subaru of America is a leading auto brand in the US committed to being a positive force in the community. The Automotive Technician A is responsible for diagnosing and repairing Subaru vehicles, maintaining proficiency through ongoing training, and preparing vehicles for sale.

Responsibilities
Diagnoses and repairs Subaru vehicles
Remains current with rapidly changing automotive technology
Performs pre-delivery inspection (PDI) on test, employee-owned, and press fleet vehicles. Prepares used vehicles for sale
Provides QMR reports to Technical Service sections
Mentors new hires and interns during new hire orientation period
Participates in special projects, such as port rectifications, flat rate time studies, accessory prototype installation, press introductions, service bulletin development, etc
Maintains equipment and working area in proper order. Orders shop supplies as needed
Qualification
Required
Subaru Master Technician
ASE Master Certified (All 8 ASE certifications obtained)
Strong diagnostic skills
Strong writing skills to complete technical reports
Strong verbal communication skills to break down technical information into layman terminology
2 year degree and 6-8 years experience
