Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing safety, security, and structure to the persons served in the Intensive Supervision Unit, focusing on supervision, treatment goals, and life skills assistance.

Required

For the Behavioral Health Technician 3 - Must have an associates or bachelors degree in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice or related field
For the Behavioral Health Technician 2 - Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must be at least 21 years of age
Act 33/34 Clearances will be required
Must be able to work a rotating schedule
Must be able to perform passive physical restraint

Preferred

Familiarity with behavioral modification, and treatment principles preferred but not required
