The Cleaning Restoration Technician will respond to emergency situations, perform cleaning and restoration activities, and maintain effective communication with clients and supervisors.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage cleanup and restoration
Perform cleaning and restoration activities, such as deep cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing affected areas
Set up and operate specialty equipment for cleaning and drying purposes
Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for each project
Effectively communicate job site conditions, equipment needs, and safety hazards with supervisors
Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the cleaning restoration process
Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including water extraction, smoke and odor removal, mold remediation, and site clean-up
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license
Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning agents and other chemicals
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures
Preferred
Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, or related field is preferred
IICRC certification in cleaning and restoration is a plus
