Maintenance Technician - Village Green
Mills Properties is an award-winning property management company with 32 communities located throughout St. Louis and Columbia, MO. They are seeking experienced technicians to maintain their properties, ensuring safety, appearance, and functionality through various maintenance tasks and repairs.

Responsibilities
Complete service requests in an effective, timely manner and to the satisfaction of residents
Perform preventative maintenance on property, buildings, units, appliances and equipment
Complete the make ready process by ensuring all repairs, replacements, and clean-up are completed
Communicate daily with property office reporting on progress of service requests and make readies
Identify and report to management any safety concerns, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs
Assist other maintenance associates as needed
Monitor pool operation on a daily basis and maintain the appropriate health department standards
Maintain curb appeal by assisting grounds keeping and picking up litter
Assist with housekeeping, inspections, and other tasks as assigned by the property manager/maintenance supervisor
Maintain positive communications with residents and provide excellent service through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concerns
Perform call-back emergency service as required
Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops
Abide by Mills policies and procedures and laws pertaining to Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED; Trade school degree preferred
EPA certification Type I and II, or Universal required; or willing to complete certification within first 90 days of employment
Proven ability to maintain composure against obstacles; solving problems with keen insight
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and on call
Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
Valid driver's license
Adept at building relationships and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other's ideas, giving due appreciation and bringing out the best in others
Preferred
Minimum of one-year maintenance experience is preferred
