Substitute Teacher - Therapeutic Programs (2025-26 SY)
NEOGOV is part of the Educational Service District 112, providing quality educational services throughout Southwest Washington. The Substitute Teacher will implement curriculum and behavior management strategies to facilitate learning for special education students.

Responsibilities
Select teaching strategies to implement IEP goals for special education students. Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to meet students' needs
Provide classroom, small group and one-on-one instruction to special education students
Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
Provide one-on-one assistance to students
Maintain a safe classroom environment and behavior management plan that facilitates learning and promotes positive student behaviors
Work cooperatively and communicate with program staff and parents
Gather data and prepare required reports and records
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Washington teacher certificate or a valid Washington substitute teacher or emergency substitute teacher certificate
Preferred
Teaching experience
Experience supervising support staff
Experience teaching children with disabilities
