Responsibilities

Coaches a variety of internal and external parties (e.g., Early Learning program leaders and staff, Communications and Agency Technology program, external community partners, etc.) for the purpose of providing guidance in developing materials, direction in developing materials using varied media, coordinating production and media requests, disseminating accurate information, and promoting Early Learning programs
Consults with Early Learning personnel to create written and graphic displays that communicate information in effective ways through various media and technologies for the purpose of disseminating regional information and data effectively
Creates communication and program-related trainings for internal and external Early Learning staff for the purpose of enhancing user knowledge of technology capabilities, processes, and supporting program compliance
Develops and maintains of a variety of manual and electronic documents, files, forms, and records for the purpose of ensuring state and federal alignment, accuracy, and availability of required information, resources, and/or documentation
Develops informational, marketing, and educational materials utilizing varied media (e.g., reports, brochures, publications, video presentations, learning management systems, social media, web pages, displays, informational packets, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information and promoting achievements of Early Learning and its programs
Embodies the principles and practices that form our culture and commitment to becoming an Antiracist Multicultural Organization for the purpose of meeting the Agency’s End: Success for Each Child and Eliminating the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity
Guides ESD personnel and external partners in utilization and navigation of technology systems (e.g., software applications, learning management systems, cloud technology, content management systems, project systems, communications systems, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring effective and efficient processes and systems
Manages Early Learning web pages (e.g., design, placement, maintenance) for the purpose of providing effective and accurate information
Manages materials and publications for the purpose of providing effective and consistent external and internal communications
Oversees online learning management system for the purpose of providing and tracking compliance of mandatory professional learning courses and ongoing professional learning opportunities for internal and external personnel
Provides operational support for the purpose of ensuring necessary department objectives are met
Serves as final editor of Early Learning publications (e.g., research information, data, and stories, develops and writes content, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to Early Learning contractors and community
Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related field
Minimum two years' experience writing and publishing large-scale communications
Experience as an administrator of an online Content Management System (CMS)
Experience managing large scale projects

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, such as MS Team, PowerPoint, MS Forms, Power Automate
Advanced MS Word skills (formatting, accessibility, editing, creating forms, etc.)
Experience working in a Learning Management System such as Canvas, etc
Knowledge of Head Start, Early Head Start, ECEAP and/or childcare
