Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist (Family, Infant and Preschool Program)
NEOGOV is seeking a Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join their Family, Infant and Preschool Program. This role involves providing early childhood intervention and family support to children with disabilities, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and staff to enhance communication skills.

Responsibilities
Providing speech and language assessments and evaluations for children who have more complex diagnoses
Providing speech-language intervention to enrolled children
Instructing parents and other caregivers in communication-related activities to attain desired outcomes
Providing consultation and technical assistance to other staff and community paraprofessionals, professionals and agencies
Participating in activities to support FIPP’s mission of providing a broad range of family-centered resources, engaging in research studies, and providing professional development and resources to the early intervention community
Qualification
Required
Licensed by the Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologist
Master's degree in speech and language pathology from an appropriately accredited institution as required by the N.C. licensing statute (G.S.90-292) to be eligible for granting of a temporary license issued by the N.C. Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologist
Basic knowledge of the application of professional speech and language pathology theory, techniques, principles, and/or procedures
Prior experience with pediatric speech-language pathology
Knowledgeable of speech-language assessment and intervention as well as typical/atypical development of children birth through five years, specialized equipment for children birth through five years, family systems theories, and family centered practice
The speech-language pathologist must be skilled in communicating with families, assisting families in identifying strengths, goals, resources and individualized plans of action
Must be able to work collaboratively with numerous FIPP staff and diverse community and professional contacts
