NEOGOV is seeking a part-time receptionist to support program functions and provide a friendly environment for staff and the general public. This role involves general receptionist duties, customer service, and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within the department.

Responsibilities
Performs all general receptionist duties, including responding to general inquiries on programs and services available throughout the various departments
Perform professionally during interaction with the general public and provide high-quality customer service
Greet persons entering the establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, direct them to appropriate destinations
Answer, screen and forward telephone calls, take messages, and schedule appointments. Monitor visitor log to ensure that all visitors sign-in and out
Provide general clerical support and programmatic assistance including preparing folders for intake and addressing envelopes for mailing
Perform routine file management functions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other staff members, community groups, other governmental agencies, and the general public
High School Diploma required
Proficient customer service and interpersonal skills required
