Field Service Technician- Austin, TX
Quality Data Systems (QDS) is a family-owned cash automation company that specializes in helping financial institutions and retailers automate cash handling. The Field Service Technician will travel within a 100-mile radius to install, maintain, and repair cash automation equipment while providing excellent customer service.

Install and repair machines
Upgrade software and hardware
Diagnose system complications and perform repairs
Perform preventative maintenance
Effectively communicate with QDS team members
Effectively communicate through Microsoft Outlook
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
1+ years of experience as a field service technician
People person! Friendly and sociable with great relationship building skills – ability to create an instant rapport with customers
Self-starter with good work ethic and ability to work independently
Clean and neat in appearance
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to prioritize travel schedule
Basic math skills and computer skills
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds
Ability to read, interpret and follow diagrams and manuals
Ability to drive up to 6-8 hours per day
Clean driving record with valid driver's license
Must pass a background check and drug test
Preferred
NCR Certification preferred, but not required
OEM ATM certification is desirable
Associates degree preferred
