Responsibilities
Daily/periodic cleaning of admin offices, maintenance shop, lunchroom, observation area, launch areas, campgrounds, and recreation sites
Restroom service (permanent, vault, and portable comfort stations): clean/disinfect fixtures and surfaces; restock toilet paper, seat covers, soap, paper towels, liners, urinal screens; add deodorant or enzyme additive as specified
Exterior policing: sweep steps/walkways/patios, remove cobwebs and graffiti per direction; empty trash and recycling
Floor care: sweep, wet mop; quarterly vinyl floor cleaning and waxing (admin/annex)
Window & screen cleaning (quarterly at admin/annex); glass/plexiglass cleaning (use ammonia‑free cleaner)
Fish cleaning stations: wash/rinse/disinfect and degrease on the scheduled day each week
Replace burned‑out light bulbs/lamps (equivalent type provided by contractor)
Operate basic equipment (backpack/upright vacuums, wet/dry vac, floor machine, pressure washer) and keep Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on site
Follow the Accident Prevention Plan (APP), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), and EM 385‑1‑1 safety requirements
Report vandalism/damage and lost‑and‑found items to the COR; maintain service logs and QC checklists
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record; ability to travel between sites in the park
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
Knowledge of safe chemical handling; reads and follows SDS; PPE compliance
Must pass background screening and complete DoD Antiterrorism Level I awareness (provided)
Availability to work early mornings/evenings, weekends, and holiday weekends per schedule
Preferred
1+ year custodial/janitorial experience (multi-site preferred)
