BISSELL Homecare, Inc. is seeking a Plastics Technician II to join their collaborative team. In this role, you will be involved in the blow-mold bottle manufacturing process, performing tasks such as mixing resin, conducting quality checks, and assisting with equipment maintenance and team training.

Responsibilities

Strong attention to detail, ensuring a heightened focus on safety and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents

Start-up and shut-down equipment, monitor performance, efficiently operate equipment, complete required documentation, complete minor changeovers and assist with major changeovers

Report issues when they arise - this should be done quickly to minimize any impact on the efficiency of production

Ensure product quality according to specifications and complete basic troubleshooting to resolve quality and performance issues

Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks

Actively support continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives

Train and develop Plastics Technician I associates on technical skills as it relates to safety, quality, and operational expectations

Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

Perform other duties as assigned
