Responsibilities
Mechanically repair and/or perform maintenance on components and assemblies that make up our generators in accordance with procedures and build checklists in order to meet customer requirements
Collaborate with engineers to fix, repair, and redesign components and assemblies
Conduct mechanical inspections of deployed units, documenting condition information for use by our team for debugging or troubleshooting
Be available to work rotational on-call shifts, as per the written schedule, to provide optimal service and support for our customers
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair
Experience with precision measuring, down to .001”, using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, etc
Familiarity with torque wrenches and documentation of repairs performed
Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift to 50 lbs., and wear required PPE
Must have knowledge of how to use and maintain basic tools, such as torque wrenches and torque specifications
Must have experience with following written and verbal work instructions while on-site
Excellent communication skills
A proven track record for the ability to work well with others as part of a dynamic team
Ability to learn quickly, is self-motivated and safety oriented
Valid Driver's license required
Preferred
Experience with automotive, aviation, and/or heavy equipment (i.e. HVAC, elevators/lifts, or industrial equipment) assembly a plus
Software knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus
Class C Commercial Driver's License preferred
