Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and software
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks
Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and provide recommendations for repairs
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, particularly in ADAS systems
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Document all repairs and services performed accurately in the company’s system
Assist in training junior technicians as needed

Required

Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, preferably within a dealership environment
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components and diesel engine repair
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred

Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is highly desirable
Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus
