Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and technical assessments on boats with warranty claims to determine the cause of issues related to marine systems, electrical, mechanical, and structural components
Accurately document all warranty-related repairs. Complete all necessary paperwork for internal tracking
Communicate with supervisor regarding warranty claims, providing status updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the process
Work closely with supervisor to gather parts needed to ensure the correct materials and components are used for repairs and warranty claims. Track parts inventory and order necessary items to complete repairs efficiently
Ensure all warranty work complies with manufacturer guidelines and specifications
Work with engineers, designers, and the manufacturing team to provide feedback on recurring issues or quality concerns
Identify potential preventative maintenance solutions for the boats and recommend upgrades when necessary to enhance performance and longevity
Qualification
Required
1 year to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Deep understanding of marine systems and components
Ability to maintain the brand's exceptional standard of quality and customer satisfaction
Basic mathematical skills
Understand and comply with health, safety and regulatory requirements
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Ability to meet production schedules
Knowledge of chemicals, their dangers, safety procedures, mixing procedures and time limits
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Follow safety and health standards – use of protective equipment as required
Ability to work 8+ hour day shifts (sitting, standing, bending and reaching) and moderate lifting up to 50 lbs
