Nexlogica is seeking a JIRA Developer to support complex projects through enterprise architecture methods. The role involves providing subject matter expertise in enterprise strategy, business process design, and application integration.

Responsibilities

Apply management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to support complex projects in applying organizing principles and methods of enterprise architecture

Provide subject matter expertise in industry

Possess knowledge and technical expertise in standards and technologies to support complex business analysis, solution selection, systems design, and application integration

Design custom JIRA workflows for different issue types to assist in Automation of provisioning, build & deploy software releases

Develop plugins and gadgets that extend the JIRA capabilities using Atlassian Plugin SDK 6.x

Design JIRA screens, security and notification schemes and integration with external applications such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook

Perform the duties of a JIRA engineer and responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrade, and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence, HipChat and integrations with other tools or plugins

Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports

Candidate applies their management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to support complex projects in applying organizing principles and methods of enterprise architecture

Methods of enterprise architecture include IT business systems development and technical solutions that align with the business process

This is accomplished through requirements analysis, needs assessments, and selection and implementation of integration strategies including lifecycle sustainability

The Candidate will provide subject matter expertise in industry, and have specific knowledge of methods including architect enterprise strategy, enterprise architecture development and management; business process design and re-engineering; investment decision making and support for solution architecture development/management; and support the attainment of business strategy and its alignment with processes and information technology strategy

Candidate will possess knowledge and technical expertise in standards and technologies to support complex business analysis, solution selection, systems design, and application integration

Minimum of seven (7) years of applying Enterprise Architecture principles

At least five (5) years of that experience must be in a lead capacity

5+ years of experience in the following areas: Design custom JIRA workflows for different issue types to assist in Automation of provisioning, build & deploy software releases (patches, upgrades, and new software) as well as other continuous integration workflows

Develop plugins and gadgets that extend the JIRA capabilities using Atlassian Plugin SDK 6.x

Design JIRA screens, security and notification schemes and integration with external applications such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook
