Registered EEG Technician
Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare organization that focuses on transforming patient experiences. They are seeking a Registered EEG Technician responsible for performing routine testing procedures on patients and ensuring the proper functioning of EEG equipment.

Responsibilities
Select predetermined electrode combinations and observe patient with video recording equipment
Ensure EEG and tape are lined up exactly
Check focus, lighting and microphone
Abstract relevant information from the patients clinical record and obtain additional information
Perform electroencephalographic examinations on patients
Schedule and organize special procedure tests, angiography, X-ray studies, etc
Serve as an instructor for new personnel
Provide training in the interpretation of EEG recordings, applications and the academics of EEG technology
Maintain equipment in clean operating condition and perform proper maintenance
Qualification
Required
Completion of an accredited EEG program OR an Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics or related patient care field
Registered EEG Technician (R.EEG.T)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
One year experience as an EEG Technician
Manual dexterity in order to place electrodes precisely and to operate recording equipment
Ability to push and maneuver EEG machine weighing 320 pounds and Evoked Potential machine weighing 420 pounds
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range
Requires some exposure to communicable disease or body fluids
