Sr. Scientist - Cell Based Assay, Bioanalytical Lab

Responsibilities
Pioneer Assay Design: Drive the creation and refinement of cell-based assays in relevant biological systems with appropriate scientific rigor
Champion Assay Transfer: Lead method tech transfers, becoming the go-to person for training and troubleshooting within our vibrant scientific community
Perform Bioanalytical Development: Conduct full-cycle assays, from initial feasibility evaluation to FFP qualification or GLP validation to sample analysis
Lead Data Interpretation And Reporting: Transform raw data into valuable insights, shaping test procedures and submissions, effectively communicating results to stakeholders
Oversee Assay Documentation: Maintain impeccable reagent, assay, personnel, equipment records, etc. aligning with our SOPs and regulatory requirements
Manage Assay Lifecycle: Evaluate and manage the full lifecycle of cell-based assay projects, ensuring they meet scientific, regulatory, and business objectives
Enhance Sponsor Engagement: Apply your scientific acumen to elevate client interactions and improve SOW/proposals
Qualification
Required
A Doctorate or Master's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field, with significant hands-on experience in cell-based assays
Proficiency in cell culture, cytotoxicity, immunogenicity, neutralizing antibody assays, biomarker identification, ADME/DMPK studies, and potency evaluations
Experience with BSL-1 and BSL-2 viral systems, including AAV, RCL, and RCR
Familiarity with assay technologies such as flow cytometry, qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, and MSD
Competence in bioanalysis software including FlowJo, Softmax Pro, and GraphPad Prism for data management and analysis
Dedication to scientific research and problem-solving in the face of challenges
Strong critical thinking abilities and excellent communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex scientific information effectively
