Responsibilities
Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces
Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation
Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs
Follow USP and requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio
At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior experience in retail, hospital, or compounding settings preferred
Familiarity with USP and standards and non-sterile compounding processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping
Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment
Organized, dependable, and collaborative team player
Commitment to patient safety and quality standards
Preferred
Prior experience in retail, hospital, or compounding settings
