They are seeking a Body Shop Mechanical Technician to work with collision damaged vehicles, diagnose issues, and communicate service needs while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

This position will be working the body shop with collision damaged vehicles

Must be able to drive and operate vehicles

Examine vehicles, diagnose and discuss the nature and extent of damages

Measurement & alignment of vehicles using wheel alignment equipment

Evac & recharge a variety of A/C systems

Communicate additional service needs for communication to clients

Plan work procedures in cooperation with the Blue Printer

Collaborate to provide labor time estimates to the Estimator

Monitor repair times and update Estimators on repair status

Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation

Complete documentation for client repairs

Know and understand computer system

Wear approved safety gear when is designated safety areas

Keep work area clean and neat

Attend on-going relevant training events

Attend department / dealership meetings
