Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of electricians and maintenance personnel
Troubleshoot electrical problems and review complex electrical plans
Confer with contractors and government agencies regarding electrical construction work for compliance
Monitor project activities until completion and document problems and solutions
Prepare maintenance schedules and associated job plans
Produce purchase requisitions for materials used and prepare reports on project status
Respond to electrical emergency situations and perform additional duties as assigned

Required

A High School Diploma or GED
A valid driver's license
A valid Class 'A' Master Electrical License or a Louisiana State Electrical License or Journeymen's License
Eight (8) years of full-time paid experience as a licensed electrician with at least five (5) years of this experience at an airport facility
Eight (8) years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, engineering, design, commissioning, maintenance, or manufacturing, with at least five (5) years of recent experience in large and complex work environments such as hospitals, municipalities, post-secondary campuses, or industrial plants
At least three (3) years of supervisory experience managing teams
