Registered Behavior Technician, Float - Part Time

Westside Children's Therapy is dedicated to providing quality care to children, and they are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming. The RBT will support clients by providing play-based therapy and working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

Provide supplemental and temporary support to ABA clinical teams within an assigned region
Coordinate with Clinic ABA Directors to determine which site needs the most coverage support
Provide direct therapy coverage for clinics in region that need assistance
Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients and caseload, following programming written by BCBA
Engage with BCBA during regular supervision sessions to ask questions and receive feedback
Collect and record data on patients’ behavior
Complete and submit required documentation (e.g., SOAP notes) in a timely manner, aligned with Westside's policies and procedures
Develop strong relationships with the children on assigned caseload and strive to make every session a fun experience

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation for travel between clinics
1 year of experience as an RBT at Westside or two years of related experience
Ability to adapt to frequent changes and competing demands
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Competence with a variety of computer applications
Comfortable persona to better develop relationships with children and their families
Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as a team
Passion for working with children with special needs
Patient with the ability to redirect clients frequently and compassionately
Accountable for personal behavior and performance
Receptive to feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development
Honest and transparent communicator
Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessions
Ability to lift or carry 30 lbs
Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapy
Frequent travel required within 30 miles of 'Home' clinic
