Anesthesia Technician I - Galveston

The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking an Anesthesia Technician I to provide technical skills in the preparation of all anesthesia equipment used during surgical and related medical procedures. Responsibilities

Assists in preparing operation rooms for a variety of anesthetic procedures
Sets up anesthetic machine, tracheal intubation, monitoring equipment, and other supplies peculiar to type of anesthesia
Cleans anesthetic machine and other equipment after completion of anesthesia
Maintains inventory records and orders, stores, and distributes anesthesia supplies, drugs and equipment
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
Performs related duties as required

Qualification

BLS certificationAnesthesia equipment preparationTracheal intubationInventory managementTechnical skills

Required

High school or equivalent
Three years related experience required
Current BLS required
