AWE is a leading organization focused on national security and nuclear deterrence in the UK. They are offering a Level 3 Advanced Metrology Technician apprenticeship, which combines academic studies with practical workplace activities, aimed at developing skills in measurement and quality assurance. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress to a Quality Inspector role upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Identify measurement needs, plan and perform measurement tasks using tools, equipment, instrumentation and software programmes

Develop basic knowledge and core skills in the Skills Academy for the first year, before progressing around AWE to apply training
