The role involves working under direct supervision to utilize blueprints and various fabrication machines to create aircraft components.

Responsibilities

Utilize detailed blueprints to layout pieces to be fabricated and installed

Layout and fabricate aircraft parts such as ribs, stringers, doublers, etc. using standard sheet metal and composite repair techniques and measuring tools such as calipers, dial calipers and scales

Utilize fabrication machines including drill press, band saw, chop saw, bending breaks and shears

Must be able to hold tolerances

Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required

Required

High school diploma with at least 0-2 years of experience

Ability to obtain security clearance

Utilize detailed blueprints to layout pieces to be fabricated and installed

Work environment consists of various office and manufacturing settings with may have exposure to noise, varying temperatures, smells, and chemicals

Ability to traverse manufacturing facility
