FUSE3 is a Managed Service Provider in the Sacramento region, dedicated to solving problems for small to mid-size businesses. The Systems Administrator will provide complex technical support, assist in various IT projects, and mentor less experienced technical support staff.

Responsibilities

Provide complex technical support to FUSE3 customers
Set up and configure individual network users
Assist in a variety of IT projects
Maintain accurate notes and time entries in the ConnectWise Ticketing System and control records
Perform network startup and shutdown procedures
Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Research, recommend and implement new technology
Mentor less experienced technical support staff

Qualification

Required

Three-plus years of experience in a senior support role
Strong technical skills
Personable with clients and internal staff
Positive attitude that inspires growth
3-5 years of troubleshooting and administration of Windows PCs, Server Hardware, and Server Operating Systems
3-5 years of experience in building, deploying, and troubleshooting networks and network hardware
Microsoft 365 administration including but not limited to Office, Intune, Entra ID, etc
Active Directory
Group Policy
Virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper-V in particular)
Common backup technologies
Network printing and faxing
Strong customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent team player who can also work independently
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to maneuver under desks
Ability to cable new workstation arrangements/setups
Driver's license and appropriate insurance
Willingness to participate in the On-Call program

Preferred

Experience with ConnectWise
Experience with Sophos
Experience with VoIP
Previous MSP experience
